VCMS Admissions
To apply for admissions, send VCMS:
- Completed application
- Three letters of professional recommendation (sent directly to VCMS from the individual providing it)
- Personal statement explaining your interest in Montessori education
- Official transcripts from most recent educational institution
- $100.00 non-refundable application fee
Once all application materials are received, an admissions interview will be scheduled with the program directors, either in person or via a phone conference call. A successful interview leads to an adult learner contract, and requires a $500.00 tuition deposit and the $385.00 accreditation and affiliation fee. Applications must be postmarked by May 1st. Applications received after this date will be charged a $200.00 late processing fee. Once accepted into VCMS, the intern will be responsible for locating a VCMS approved practicum site. VCMS will provide information about area Montessori schools.
