VCMS Admissions


To apply for admissions, send VCMS:

  1. Completed application
  2. Three letters of professional recommendation (sent directly to VCMS from the individual providing it)
  3. Personal statement explaining your interest in Montessori education
  4. Official transcripts from most recent educational institution
  5. $100.00 non-refundable application fee

Once all application materials are received, an admissions interview will be scheduled with the program directors, either in person or via a phone conference call. A successful interview leads to an adult learner contract, and requires a $500.00 tuition deposit and the $385.00 accreditation and affiliation fee. Applications must be postmarked by May 1st. Applications received after this date will be charged a $200.00 late processing fee. Once accepted into VCMS, the intern will be responsible for locating a VCMS approved practicum site. VCMS will provide information about area Montessori schools.
